I dropped Jake and Sarah off at the library before work this morning. What an amazing place... I have not been in a library for 10 years or since college. I am fool... it has everything and IT IS FREE!
We are young family on a budget and this place has DVDs (all the latest), Video Games, Music, and Books/Magazines... all this stuff for you to borrow. Oh My... I am going to get a library card tomorrow. Free to look at anytime you want and you do not need to buy it. Does it get any better? Me thinks NOT!

WHY THE LACK OF POSTS??? Well... I have no excuse other than I have been traveling for work and it's been very hard to even think about the being mighty-eric. Here is a recap of what has been going down:
- October 8,2007 - Boston to Denver, CO
- October 15, 2007 - Boston to Seattle, WA
- October 18, 2007 - Seattle to Denver
- October 19, 2007 - Denver to Boston
- October 22 - 26, 2007 - VACATION!!!
- October 28, 2007 - Back to Seattle
- November 5, 2007 - Back to Seattle
I have a better plan for updating mighty-eric.com going forward... *I hope* I can keep my commitments to the site. It's so much fun for me, just need a quick five minutes to think about it. The good thing is that both Jake and Sarah are healthy and happy. Sarah's Mom and Grandfather (first time in the USA) came to the states for a visit October 22 - 26, 2007. We had a blast and I think\hope Sarah's granddad will comeback. Anywho... that is pretty much for me. Speak to you in another month...

mighty-eric RETURNS! It all started to go wrong in August. At first, it started out like a simple 2 week Business Trip to Seattle. During the second week around August 6th my laptop died. That meant no mighty-eric.com updates and rebuilding a new machine. After I returned to Seattle I had 2 days to set up my new laptop before I was on the road again. I got to see Kentucky and that was cool, also got stuck in several airports due to flight delays! Later in month (August 31st) I turned 32.
Now the dust has settled things are relatively back to normal. I Look forward to posting more updates in mighty-eric.com!

I am back in Renton, Washington (near Seattle) from April 3rd to April 20th. I am doing a lot meetings in either Renton or Bellevue, which requires extensive knowledge of Washington or a nü way to travel."a 3.5-inch screen and a host of features that appealed to seasoned travelers."
How can I avoid getting lost? A good question and there is probably no simple answer (except never leaving home). However, there are some tried and true techniques that help like buying map. Unfortunately maps do not help me that much... I need some high-tech help!
Enter the Garmin nüvi® 660, a sleek GPS and Personal Travel Assistant. This preloaded navigator brings has "colorful" widescreen display and features hands-free calling, traffic alerts, an FM transmitter* and more.
SWEET!

Here is a shot of downtown Seattle before the huge snow storm took down the city. More to write on that later... Nice shot of the space needle and Mount Rainier.

The Kingdom of Denmark is the smallest and southernmost of the Nordic countries. Danish is spoken throughout the country, although a small group near the German border also speaks German. Many Danes are fluent in English as well, particularly those in larger cities and the youth, who are taught foreign languages in school.
The most famous Dane is actually Hamlet, the title character of William Shakespeare's famous play. The play was set in the real castle of Kronborg in Helsingør, north of Copenhagen. It was inspired by an old Danish myth of the viking Prince Amled of Jutland, and his quest for vengeance against his father's killer. Another widely known Dane is Hans Christian Andersen, in Denmark referred to as H. C. Andersen, a writer known for such fairy tales as The Emperor's New Clothes, The Little Mermaid, and The Ugly Duckling.

Seattle, Washington
Located in the state of Washington, Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Seattle was founded in the 1850s and named after Chief Seattle, who earned his reputation at a young age as a leader and a warrior, ambushing and defeating groups of enemy raiders coming up the Green River.
Seattle is known as the birthplace of grunge music, and it has a reputation for heavy coffee consumption: coffee companies founded in Seattle include Starbucks.
A United States Census Bureau survey showed that Seattle has the highest percentage of college graduates of any major U.S. city.
The Seattle area has been the site of dozens and dozens of movies, television shows, and commercials, going back as far as the 1930's. Favorites include: Sleepless in Seattle, An Officer and a Gentleman, and War Games.
